LOVE LETTERS OF THE SEA 

After finding a video of a pufferfish creating a big circle to find a partner, on the bottom of the ocean the male pufferfish creates a circle with a diameter of two meters. Inspired by their ritual I translated the circles into typography. I started with a small calligraphy pencil and paper to create as many shapes as possible.

I digitalize the font looking for the right shape for every letter. Some are more abstract then others but if you put them on top of each other you get a pattern inspired on the circles that the pufferfish makes.
